On Friday, February 10th, Minford High School had the pleasure of welcoming troopers and trained drug search dogs into our building. This team, along with the high school administration, searched the entire building in one class period in order to make sure our school was free of drugs and other illegal substances. This search was very thorough, and we are pleased to announce that nothing was found during this time.
The Minford Local School District takes pride in its efforts to protect our students and staff. Random and unannounced searches are a part of our normal operating procedures and are completed numerous times during the school year by outside agencies. Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and collaborative learning environment is our top priority!
