All juniors and seniors must register in order to attend the prom.  You may not register a guest other than your own date (dates under the age of 9th grade will not be admitted!)

Prom tickets will be sold Monday, February 6, 2012 through February 17, 2012 during lunch in the auditeria.  Mrs. Compton will also sell tickets after school in her classroom.  For other times, please contact Mrs. Hayward.

JUNIOR CLASS INFORMATION

To attend the prom, you must register you and your date and pay for your tickets.  Tickets for Juniors are $20 minus $1 for each magazine you sold.  A guest who is not a Junior or Senior at Minford High School will need a $20 ticket.  Extra magazine sales may not be transferred to another person.  Guests who are not students at Minford High School must return a Guest Contract Form before the prom.

SENIOR CLASS INFORMATION

Your prom ticket is $10.  If you bring a date who is not a Senior at Minford High School, their ticket will cost $20.  See above for Junior exceptions.  Remember that you must register you and your date in order to attend the prom.  If your date is not a student at Minford High School, they must complete a Guest Contract Form and have it returned to the high school office before the prom.

PICTURES:

Prom pictures will be taken at the high school from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. prior to and during the Grand March Ceremony.  Life Touch Photographers will be set up in the Auditeria.

VIDEO:

John Switalski plans to video the Grand March Ceremony and possible part of the prom.  DVD's can be ordered the evening of the prom.  The cost of the video is $20.  Upon delivery of the completed videos to school, the cost of the video will be $25.

GRAND MARCH:

Anyone interested in participating in the Grand March Ceremony must meet in the High School no later than 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012.  The Grand March line will begin in the hallway by the gymnasium locker rooms.  Signs will be posted as to the path for the Grand March.  Remember, hundreds of family members, friends, and community members gather this evening to see you at your best and to take photographs.  We'll do whatever we can to make the evening one of your best ones; however, we do need your cooperation during this process.  Mr. Jeff Pica will be the Master of Ceremonies for the Grand March.

FOOD:

A snack buffet will be available at the prom for your enjoyment.

FYI:

Parents must leave the high school as soon as they are finished taking pictures.  The decorations for the Grand March Ceremony will also be used for the prom, and they must not be removed until after the prom is over.

Please do not step on the lights lining the floor, as it leaves broken glass on the floor.  Many prom attendees remove their shoes to dance.

There are 5 area proms on the same night at ours.  If you need reservations of any king, you should make them early.  There is also a community sponsored after prom which will be held at Minford Middle School Gymnasium.  There will be many activities, food, games, and prizes!
