Welcome to the official website for the Minford Local School District. Located in rural southern Ohio, Minford Local Schools has a long standing tradition of high expectations and academic success. With a district enrollment of approximately 1600 students, our campus houses students in two buildings: an elementary/middle school with grades Preschool through eighth, and a high school, serving students in grades 9-12.
The district’s mission is to produce well-balanced graduates who are productive citizens with high moral character, life-long learning goals, and service-oriented minds. Our mission is accomplished with a primary focus on student achievement, academic growth, and our efforts to meet the ever-changing needs of the students we serve. Our staff is dedicated to student success, we incorporate a curriculum with very high standards of achievement, and provide a safe and structured environment for all students to learn.
Without the strong support of our Minford community, families, and other support systems, our district would not see the success we do. The Minford Local Schools is consistently a leader in achievement in our area, which is greatly due to the support of our parents and families, community, commitment of our staff members, and the ongoing efforts and determination of our student body.

About Mr. Litteral …
Jeremy Litteral, superintendent of the Minford Local School District, took the position in July of 2016. Litteral is a 2003 graduate of Northwest High School. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Middle Childhood Education in 2007, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati in 2010, and obtained his Superintendent Certification from Ohio University in 2014.
Mr. Litteral served as principal of Minford Elementary for two years, and assistant superintendent of the district during the 2015-2016 school year. Prior to that, Litteral served as a fourth and fifth grade teacher for the Jackson City Schools (2007-2012) and as principal of Amanda-Clearcreek High School for one year (2012-2013) before beginning his career with the Minford Local Schools.
