Recently, the Minford Local School District was awarded the Momentum Award by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.  The momentum award is  presented to districts and buildings that have demonstrated outstanding improvement in achievement while also continuing to show growth. The momentum award is for districts and buildings that have improved their performance index by 3 or more points from 2021-2022 report card to the 2022-2023 report card AND received a value-added progress rating of 4 or more stars. Minford Middle School also received this award at the building level. 

We are extremely proud of our students and staff for their excellent work to obtain this award and the huge amount of growth they have made on state tests and in our classrooms over the past few years. Amazing things are happening in the Minford Local Schools!

The district will hold a Yard Sale & Vendor Sale on Saturday, May 11, 2024.  The event will take place in the MHS parking lot between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Minford Local School District is accepting applications for the following substitute position(s) within the district for Summer 2024:

Summer Custodial/Grounds Staff - Pay Rate:  $11 per hour)

Interested applicants must submit a completed district employment application and a letter of interest to the District Office (connected to the high school building) between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. weekdays.

The deadline for Applications:  Friday, April 26, 2024 at 3 p.m.

Preschool and Kindergarten Registration for the 2024 - 2025 school year for Minford Local Schools will be held on Thursday, May 2 and Friday, May 3 at the Elementary School.

Children must be 5 years old on or before September 30, 2024 to be eligible to begin kindergarten.  Children must be 4 years old on of before September 30, 2024 to be eligible to begin preschool.

Due to state legislation, children who are 3 years old on or before September 30, 2024 will be placed on a list for consideration based on preschool eligibility criteria (more information will be provided during registration).  Children who are eligible to register for Kindergarten are encouraged to attend during registration.
