2021 PROM INFORMATION

Dinner and Prom 7:00-11:00
Location: Scioto County Fairgrounds
All juniors and seniors must register in order to attend the Prom. You may not register a guest other than your own date (dates will not be admitted under 9th grade)! Prom tickets will be sold Wednesday, March 24th, through Thursday, April 1st, before and after school in Mrs. Hayward’s room. If you are unable to meet then, email Mrs. Hayward at [email protected]. All tickets are $35.00. Guests who are not students at Minford High School must return a Guest Contract Form before the Prom. These will be available mid April in the office window. Dress Code is formal.
Prom Voting will be available by a form to be shared on Google Docs. Once submitted, your vote will then be counted.
PICTURES: Pictures should be taken by Lifetouch. More on that later.
Grand March and Prom this year will be held at the Scioto County Fairgrounds. Parking will be in the north lot, the entrance is by the horse barns. Student parking will be in the grassy lot nearest the fairground. Spectator parking will be closer to the grandstand and horse barn. Students with Prom tickets will park for free. Spectators will be charged $5 per car to park.
GRAND MARCH: Anyone interested in participating in The Grand March Ceremony must line up near the grandstand stage no later than 6pm May 1st. The Grand March line will be around the fence near the stage. There will be signs posted as to the path for Grand March. I hope.
Remember, hundreds of family members, friends, and community members gather this evening to see you at your best. We’ll do whatever we can to make the evening one of your best; however, we do need your cooperation during this process. Mr. Jeff Pica will be the Master of Ceremonies of Grand March. Once you have been announced and walked the path, please continue on up to the barn. Please take pictures with family before Grand March. No spectators will be allowed access to the barn due to social distancing. Spectators will be dismissed in groups after grand march is completed.
Dinner: Is being provided by Steve McManus catering. The menu includes Roast beef, Chicken, New potatoes with garlic and butter, green beans and a salad. Various types of soft drinks and water will be available. Dessert will be provided by Ms. Susie Munion, our guidance secretary.
