Welcome back to what is shaping up to be another great year at Minford Elementary! I hope everyone has had a relaxing and enjoyable summer vacation. 
   As a result of the hard work of our custodians, the buildings are in great shape and ready for the return of students, staff, and parents. We've also had some electrical work going on over the summer which will provide us with better lighting, a more comfortable environment, and a cost savings in energy bills. 
   We've made a few changes in bus and parent drop-offs which we feel will add an extra amount of safety for our students. Our student drop-off zone is now marked and posts have been added to mark off the no parking zone. The buses will be unloading in the morning just as they load in the evening so the drivers and duty teachers will now have a better view of the students as they exit the bus and enter the school.
   Many great things are happening here at Minford Elementary and we invite you to stop in for a visit or to volunteer! We have some great ideas for this year as well as some of our favorite activities from previous years. Please check back for updates!
